The traditional village of Horto, where  the Leda Village Resort  is found, is located in the southwest side of Pelion Mountain and overlooks the Pagassetic Gulf . It is 47 km from Volos and 77 km from Volos airport.

Horto is a small seaside village of fishermen. It is built amongst olive trees and lush vegetation that reach the beach. A picturesque rivulet also traverses it. In the area around there are quite a few beautiful beaches that are some of the best in Pelion Peninsula.

Despite the fact that Horto is small, you can find bars, restaurants and two mini markets on the promenade. Moreover, another attraction of Horto is the open theatre of “AGHELINIS” Foundation where, during the summer season, musical and dancing festivals take place and notable artists take part in.

At a 3 km distance from Horto there is Milina. Its promenade is fabulous for a stroll; along it there are a lot of tourist shops and supermarkets that catch your eye with their attractive goods. There are also restaurants by the sea, bars and clubs for entertainment by night.
